User
The User in the iSense context is a person who has an account to sign in to the Services. This account will have certain permissions and will contain personal information.
Developer
The Developer means the person having developed the Services. The Developer can access the Services for maintenance, updates, help desk and monitoring purposes. The Developer never signs in to a specific account but has only a global access to the platform as an administrator.
Services
Services in the iSense context means the use of the following applications, services and content of iSense by an individual, acting on his/her own or on his/her company’s behalf, from within any country in the world (hereinafter "User" or "Users"):
Personal Data
In the context of this Notice, the reference to “Personal Data” includes several types of data (f.e. User’s Data, Flavor Data), excluding metadata.
We as iSense collect the data needed for you the User to access the Services, we are hosting your data including your Flavor data on a cloud of a third party cloud service (currently Amazon Web Services in Data Centres based in Ireland) and are processing the Personal Data as to provide you with services, products and information you request.
We as iSense are transparent to you regarding the Data that we deal with. We only process Data that we obtain lawfully, whether it is through the conclusion of a contract with us, your subscription and usage of any of our services or products, or your consent in any other way.
A) The Personal Data we collect and process from you the User:
All actions of the User will be tracked and recorded in an audit log.
The log can be consulted by you upon request. You may opt out of receiving any, or all communications from iSense except communications needed by iSense in order to fulfill a contract with you by contacting us at following address: contact@isensegroup.com.
The User’s data will not be used for marketing purposes in relation to third parties.
B) Flavor Data we collect and process from you the User:
While using the Services, you may provide us with data about flavors and taste ingredients (hereinafter: “Flavor”) or about Flavors you are interested in requesting (hereinafter: “Flavor Data”). This may include:
We will not share Flavor Data with third parties or use the Data unless you have given your express consent. You can, via the iSense Platform make Data visible and accessible for all Users interested in requesting Data or to specific Users chosen by the User.
C) Information collected from your browser:
We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Services or when you access the Services by or through a mobile device. This data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.When you access the Services by or through a mobile device, this data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser your use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
D) Metadata we collect and process:
Metadata is a description or definition of electronic data, or data about data. It is also referred to as “Business Intelligence data” and is part of the “Big data”.Metadata are anonymous, general and aggregated statistics not related to physical or identifiable persons, used for security purposes and in order to enhance the quality of the Services. Metadata can include descriptive tags and information about when a document (i.e. a flavor profile a flavor safety datasheet, a flavor specification) was created, and what it contains (i.e. main characteristics of given profiles for a quicker search, indexing and sorting data).Metadata are anonymous and not related to any identified or identifiable individual person. Therefore, it is not Personal Data. Because of this we collect, process and store Metadata indefinitely and – other than your Personal Data – it is not deleted when youDelete your Account or your Flavor.
We use the collected data for various purposes:

We collect and process data according to the applicable Swiss Data Protection Regulation and – if applicable– the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We do not share data with third parties at the moment.
Your data is hosted with a third party cloud service. At this time we are working with Amazon WebServices in Ireland.
We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.
Whenever made possible, you can update your User’s Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to change your User’s Data, please contact us at contact@isensegroup.com to make the required changes.

Please note in this regard that it is not possible to oppose generic advertising on our websites or in our applications.This is the same type of advertising that you might find in a newspaper or paper magazine.
Your audit log and the access log are stored 6 months. Your User profile is stored as long as you are using the Services. The Metadata is stored indefinitely as it is anonymous, not related to any identified or identifiable individual person.
You are responsible for our authentication details. You should read and understand the Term of Use, applicableTerms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice as well as comply with applicable laws and regulations.
